"Character is the beginning, commitment moves us to act, and discipline helps us follow through."

"I think a lot of our team commitment is a silent understanding that each one of us has poured our life into what we're doing."

"...reinforce that it's the team, not a single individual that makes the group successful. It's all about the game and a common team goal - growth and winning."

The Rebels 18G team ended a very successful fall campaign with an impressive 34-15-1 record, going a remarkable 16-3 over the last two months.  In November they earned a chance to defend their USA Preps Nationals title, losing by one run in the bottom of the 7th after an 8 inning ITB victory in the semi-finals.  The following month they took the trophy at the Punishers Toys for Tots Tournament with a 7-0 record, and finished up January a perfect 5-0 at the America’s Finest City Showcase to end the season.

The Rebels offense is one of the best in SoCal scoring an impressive 279 runs (5.58/game) including 34 homeruns. 33 triples,62 doubles and a .329 team average.  Most impressive though may be that in 50 games, the Rebels were only shut-out 3 times.  The pitching staff held it’s own with 10 shutouts and allowed only 140 runs (2.8/game), holding opponents to a .293 average.

With players from 9 high schools, in 2 counties, the Rebels will be well represented as they head back to showcase their talents in CIF!
